*Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid derived from sugar cane. It exfoliates the skin and contributes to enhanced skin hydration, smooths fine lines and improves the skin’s texture and tone. Glycolic acid peels are great anti-aging treatments that help the skin to regenerate itself.**Salicylic peels are often used to control breakout prone skins. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid and an oil soluble solution derived from willow bark, wintergreen leaves and birch bark, which helps oily prone skins by breaking apart oils. Salicylic acid peels also promote cutaneous shedding as well as disolving black-heads and white-heads.

***Lactic acid is derived from milk. Due to its molecular size, being larger than AHA and BHA molecules, Lactic acid peels do not penetrate as deep as Glycolic acid peels and Salicylic acid peels. Lactic acid peels are designed for those who do not require deep skin exfoliation and/or those who have dry, sensitive skin. Lactic acid peels are also effective and gentle enough for those with Rosacea.
